ArtOne draws excellent faculty talent from a variety of AICAD schools, and from a diverse set of academic disciplines. These faculty teach in our college-prep and support programs, as well as attend our events in China and the U.S. Our goal is to provide talented, experienced faculty who connect with students!
Below are the energetic faculty that are part of our roster, which grows regularly. Each faculty member has experience and has been recommended by a supervisor at their AICAD school and their previous experience and credentials are reviewed for appropriateness in teaching in ArtOne's many programs.
Havanna has her Fashion Design degree from Parsons, and a dance degree from Eugene Lang as well. With a keen interest in design, she can teach in the ArtOne Art Experience, the ArtOne Portfolio Tour (in China), and the ArtOne U.S. College tour. Jeana is qualified to teach the ArtOne Art Experience and the ArtOne Intensive (in China). With a degree in Photography from Parsons, her favorite areas to teach are photography, painting, video, and drawing. Jing earned her degree in Fine Arts from Columbus College of Art and Design. She is fluent in English and Chinese and has worked as an ESL instructor for international students in both high school and college programs. Maureen earned her Fashion Studies degree from Parsons in 2014 and has been a regular instructor at Parsons since she graduated. She also lectures regularly at Marymount Manhattan College in New York. She loves to teach fashion/art history, painting and drawing and is qualified to participate in ArtOne Portfolio Tours in China, ArtOne's U.S. College Tours, the ArtOne Art Experience and ArtOne Intensive. Over the past 25 years, Jim has held the position of Group Creative Director and Global Creative Director at major advertising agencies in New York, Frankfurt, and Columbus, working for iconic brands like Tide, Pringles, Pampers, Olay, Clairol, and Toys ‘R Us. and is qualified to teach in all of ArtOne's programs. Maya Eigel earned her degree in Fashion Design from Columbus College of Art and Design, but that only speaks to a small part of her experience with fashion industry, including work with Tween, Nordstrom, and now her own company called SESlines that feature collections to Save our Endangered Species. Hon is a painter, printmaker and installation artist with her MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University, and her BFA from Savannah College of Art and Design. Allison earned her degree in Fashion Design from Columbus College of Art and Design, with expertise in advanced pattern, fit and construction. Over the last year, she's been focused on the launch of Quirk, an aggressively simple, androgynous and quirky fashion label, designed for gender queer people.
