ArtOne engages students through a variety of programming options. We want to help connect talented young artists and designers to those that can help them make decisions about their academic careers. We offer programming that's designed to inform students about available options.
We communicate our programs through appropriate channels and venues (print, web, social media) to ensure market awareness of our AICAD partner schools and their support of ArtOne Curriculum, our China Portfolio Tours, and U.S. College Tours. The following are part of our annual schedule:
ArtOne's U.S. College tours are 2 to 3-week events that are done within a specific region of the U.S. They are designed to provide students with exposure to the cities and the schools that are part of the AICAD consortium in that region. ArtOne's U.S. College Tours cover the following four regions:
ArtOne China Portfolio Tours are two-day events that are done within a region of China. They are designed to provide students with exposure to faculty and admissions officers from the schools that attend the events. ArtOne Portfolio Tours cover the following four regions and their cities:
The ArtOne Experience is a short 2-week course that's designed for Chinese students in grades 10-12 who are interested in studying art and design at one or more of ArtOne's AICAD-affiliated partner schools. The program is offered year-round in many cities across the U.S. and China, and the curriculum introduces interested students to art and design majors and their associated careers, art and design history (with a focus on Western/American art), and an intensive series of quick workshops that are based on collaborative, project-based learning models. The focus of the ArtOne Experience is to help students understand how to use creativity and critique to solve problems, leading to a capstone presentation at the end of the Experience. Faculty teaching the ArtOne Experience are from AICAD schools. The ArtOne Experience is scheduled throughout the year in the following cities:
ArtOne Experiences in the U.S. are done in affiliation with ArtOne Network schools.
